La section EST de L'Association Canadienne d'Énergie Fluide octroie sa première bourse d'étude:

Le récipiendaire,M. Laurent Paradis est félicité par M. Daniel Fournier ainsi que par Mme Linda Nadon, éditrice de la revue PIQ. Scholarship recipient Laurent Paradis is congratulated by Daniel Fournier and Linda Nadon, editor of PiQ magazine.

Le 7 mai 2007, Laurent Paradis, un étudiant de 2e année au programme d'entretien de machinerie industrielle du CEGEP du Vieux-Montréal, a reçu la première bourse d'étude octroyé par La section EST de L'Association Canadienne d'Énergie Fluide. Cette bourse est remise à un étudiant ayant démontré un ensemble d'excellentes performances académiques pour l'étude des principes de l'énergie fluide. Cette bourse a été rendu possible grâce à la générosité de la revue Produits Industrielles du Québec (PIQ). L'appuie de PIQ ainsi que d'autres publications produites par CLB Média permet dorénavant à l' ACÉF d'offrir des bourses d'études au Québec, en Ontario et en Alberta. Nous encourageons ainsi l'étude de l'énergie des fluides à un niveau post-secondaire.

CFPA Eastern Chapter Awards First Scholarship
On May  7, 2007, Laurent Paradis, a  second  year student in the Industrial Machinery Maintenance program at CEGEP du Vieux-Montréal, received the first annual CFPA Eastern Chapter Scholarship for academic achievement in the study of fluid power.  The scholarship has been made possible through the generosity of the magazine Produits pour l’industrie Québécoise (PiQ).  The support of PiQ and other CLB Media publications now allows the CFPA to offer scholarships in Québec, Ontario and Alberta to further fluid power education at the post-secondary level.

La première rencontre de l' ACÉF dans la région de Québec remporte un succès bien sucré.
Le 29 mars 2007, 18 personnes ont assistées au dîner "Cabane à Sucre" tenu dans la région de Québec. L'événement à permis au membres du conseil d'administration de la section EST d'informer les participants à propos des activités de l'ACÉF et des avantages de devenir membres de l'association. Merci à l' organisateur (Pierre Coupal - Wainbee) et aux participants.

First CFPA meeting in Quebec a sweet success
On March 29, 2007,  18  people attended the Eastern Chapter’s first social event in the Quebec City area, a sugar bush party.  The event allowed members of the Eastern Chapter Executive to make local representatives of the fluid power industry more aware of the CFPA activities and the benefits of membership.  Thank you to the organizer  (Pierre Coupal - Wainbee)  and all that attended.
