Rexroth Bosch Group Announces Organizational Changes
Boyd de Waard, currently DCCA/GM, has asked to step down from his current position. After 35 years with Rexroth in Canada, he will assume a position with DC/SAC as Regional Manager for the Americas.

Tom Light will succeed Boyd as DCCA/GM. Tom joined the company in March 1997 in the Quality Management role. Since then he has successfully lead other positions of responsibility and is currently DCCA/SLH in charge of the Hydraulics Business Unit.

John Mataya will become Financial Controller (DCCA/FC) reporting to Steve Roberts.

Ed Cloutier, P.Eng., MBA, will become National Sales &
Marketing Manager, reporting to Tom Light.

Doug Newton Joins Wainbee
Doug Newton has joined Wainbee Limited in the position of Corporate Sales , Marketing and Quality Manager. Doug is actually returning to Wainbee after an extended absence – he worked at Wainbee from 1985 to 1990. Doug will be replacing John Bachmann who is retiring on April 30th after 21 years at Wainbee. Doug will be staying on the CFPA Board as Wainbee’s representative.

Business Opportunity at East York Collegiate
East York Collegiate Institute in Toronto has been designated a Specialist High Major School by the Ontario Ministry of Education and has started building a program focused on Manufacturing. One of the Technology Teachers at East York, Chris Perivolaris, is looking to integrate pneumatic-based elements into this program. He needs to purchase pneumatic training equipment and instructional material.

Wainbee Limited purchases Spécialité Hydraulique C.N.
Effective January 4, 2010, Spécialité Hydraulique Côte Nord, Inc. (SHCN) located in Sept-Iles, Quebec, was acquired by Wainbee Limited. As a result of this acquisition, Wainbee now has 13 locations coast-to-coast servicing customers from Vancouver to Halifax.

Founded in 1977, SHCN. was created to meet the demand for heavy-duty hydraulic and industrial products as forestry and ore transformation megaprojects in NE Quebec and Labrador came on line.

In 1984 SHCN began to offer its products and services to an international client base. Since then companies in South America, Europe, Africa, the Middle East, and Asia have chosen SHCN to improve their ore yields and, as a result, their market competitiveness.


Parker Hannifin combines Canadian Divisions
Parker Hannifin recently announced that they have aligned their Motion & Control Division and Fluid Connector Division into a single combined division for Parker Canada.

Tony Wyszkowski has assumed the General Manager position for Parker Canada with responsibility for the Motion & Control and Fluid Connectors operations.

Reporting to Tony are the Fluid Connectors Canada operations along with Dan Healey who has been assigned the position of Interim Business Leader overseeing the Motion & Control operations.

Joe Gallant has assumed responsibility for a combined Canadian Sales Team made up of the Motion & Control and Connector Sales Teams.
